CircuitPython and GD3X progress
RPi Pico and Teensy adapter boards
Last week I sent out a couple of test boards so the RPi Pico and the Teensy can connect natly to the Dazzler. They arrived yesterday, and after fixing a missing connection, the boards came to life; Dazzler, joysticks, everything.
A proper batch of the Pico boards is now on order, and will be on sale in the Excamera Store in a few days.
Adafruit Feather M4 support
As well as Pico and Teensy, Adafruit Feather M4 Express now runs with the Dazzler. Here's the test hookup, using the Dazzler breakout board.
The Feather M4 is a fast CPU on a tiny board, pretty neat. This too has a custom Dazzler board coming in a few days.
Proper CircuitPython EVE documentation
Lastly, I spent a few hours assembling a quite comprehensive guide to the CircuitPython Eve module. The result is here on readthedocs.
It covers all the EVE's opcodes features, so is quite long. I imported lots of examples from the GD2 handbook, which hopefully clarify some of the functions.
